BoxTrapper discarding messages

HI,

I have a client that is not getting mail from a particular person. The exim_mainlog shows the e-mail as delivered. Althougth the BoxTrapper log is not real informative, it has several entries that say "Discarding message from sender: due to invalid From: header ()". I am assuming that this is the problem. He is going to have him send an e-mail elsewhere and will forward me the headers tomorrow, but I wondered if anyone had any knowledge of this problem or a solution.

I have seen that error. Is th email from your own server? I know when a improperly designed frommail script sends a message it did not put in a return address and the messages were discarded.

No, it is from another server.

You can always put in a forward for that email address for testing. That way you would not have to wait for them to send it back to ou.
