Change mx

Hi ...

I've been trying to find a way to automate the changing of a domain's MX record. I currently use a php script (curl) to automatically park domains, as in doaddparked.html, but I can't find an equivalent API for deleting the current mx of the newly parked domain or/and adding a new mx to the changed domain. I use an API to loop around a table that currently has about 160 domains with MXs that all need to be changed.

As you can imagine, doing this individually would mean many hours of work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there,

You'll definitely want to use an API call for that. It's easier and much more reliable. You've got more than one choice for this one:

ApiEmail < ApiDocs/Api1 < TWiki

ApiEmail < ApiDocs/Api2 < TWiki (yes there are two versions of the same call)

ApiZoneEdit < ApiDocs/Api2 < TWiki

I recommend the middle one.
