I was thinking the same thing

I will just have to wait to see what they plan to charge, I want to see if they try to get greedy before I implement it into our structure..

I highly doubt it would ever go paid ( or if it could due to licensing of ClamAV ), either way, it would be fairly trivial to implement such a solution.

Its an interesting question. Technically, I do not think they would charge for the clamav addon module, but it gets interesting because one must install cPanel Pro before you can install the clamav connector, and while it is not being charged for, the impression that I have always gotten was that the free licensing may not always be available as it is now...

With that said, I have installed it on many mnay servers, and I really never had a huge conren about it.

There are alternatives to the cpanel solution, such as the cpanelappz.com implementation.
