clamavconnector update overwrite clamd.conf?

As subject: when the clamavconnector addon module is enabled then updated further down the line, will a custom /etc/clamd.conf file be overwritten? I hope not

For the benefit of anyone else wondering this, the answer I got from cpanel support :

This should not modify the clamd.conf configuration. However, the changes vary across versions, and I would strongly advise backing up the configuration file before proceeding with any installations/updates.
