    Smile custom theme

i cloned x3 theme and modified it to create my own theme. The new theme is located at /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/mytheme/.

Is there any chance that cpanel will overwrite files/images under /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/mytheme automatically or upon running an upcp ?
    Regards,
    Sai

No, a upcp will not overwrite files in /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/mytheme.

If you had left it as /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3 then there would be issues with files being overwritten.
