How do I use the xml - api?

Hello,

For the life of me I can't figure out how to actually use the xml api that cPanel obviously offers.
From http://www.cpanel.net/plugins/xmlapi/index.html I gather that I am supposed to "call a URL from WebHostManager" but I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

If my cPanel test-installtion is invoked like this http://www.MyDomain.com:2086
how then am I supposed to add /xml-api/setupreseller?user=bob&makeowner=1
like the xml api documentation suggests.

If I try to invoke
http://www.MyDomain.com:2086/xml-api...ob&makeowner=1
I get a 404 error.

Could you please let me know how to invoke the xml-api on my cPanel?

Thanks a lot!

That would be an explanation! That never occurred to me as I just downloaded the 14 day trial version a week ago.

Thanks a lot for that answer.

Hi,
Did this solve your situation, and does it now work by calling the url with the additional parameters?
