    Default Install of Mod-Security failes

    Running WHM 10.1.0 Cpanel 10.1.0-c42
    RH 3

Trying to install mod_security and getting this error

    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanels...lock....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152
    Unable to retrieve file
    ...Failed

Does this mean they are down?

The mod_sec module in WHM does not work well first off. It breaks more than it fixes so it is better to compile your own and put in your own rules.

Your error looks like it tried to download something that was not there.
