No e107 at this time, though it's in the recommended scripts list and will be considered when the next portal/CMS is added.

When converting from cPanel Addon installs, if no matching installer is found in Installatron it creates a "dummy" install, so it will still appear in the user's Installed Scripts list, and will be usable, but just won't be upgradeable.

No. Our requested-scripts list is in the order or 200-300 scripts, so it's impossible to say when any particular script might get added. Everyone wants their own favorite included.

I do see that there are quite a few third-party Installatron installers for e107 though. None are publicly available. We're currently working on security improvements to the installer format that will make the sharing of custom installers a more feasible endeavor, so we might see an installer appear through that system before the end of the year.

I have been looking at Installatron for a while now, but still don't like the way how you determine who runs a VPS, and who doesn't. Other companies don't do it. How can you say, for example, that a VPS with 2GB RAM is more powerful than a dedicated server?

I also don't see how it's cheaper than Fantastico, even though you say in your FAQ it is. Please explain this to me

Installatron VPS licenses are "100 domain" licenses. It's a misconception that these licenses have a fixed memory limit. The "less than 1100MB dedicated memory" is a fall back case that is only checked in the event 100 hosted domains are exceeded. This enables us to be more flexible; dedicated server licenses are only required for servers that do not have VPS software, or that have both more than 100 hosted domains and more than 1100MB dedicated memory. We will clarify this on our pricing page before the end of week.

Regarding prices, a consistent model is used for all Installatron pricing; there's a standard discount for VPS, and a standard discount system for bulk licensing. Because of this there are a few cases where our competitors are cheaper. However, on average Installatron is less expensive. If there are any questions for specific cases just contact sales@installatron.com and we'll be happy to assist.

It's also worth mentioning that Installatron provides much more value. Installatron's installed application updates are the best in the business, with critical updates deployed within just hours.
