    Default MyTop

    Anyone using MyTop?

It's a perl script that shows real-time mysql usage, similar to htop (the improved version of top).

Getting seg crashes, related to Term::Readkey.

During make test, it'll go along fine up through the second "Readmode 4" test (...Here is a similar loop...) then I get a seg fault, which fortunately only crashes that shell session, not the whole system.

Running centos 5.2 on a Xen VPS, kernel 2.6.18.8, perl 5.8.8, whm 11.23.2

Read that cpan's Term::Readkey could cause problems, and one should get it either from the opsys or perl, but any place I've found that offers a download is just pointing back to cpan.

Trying to let WHM handle updates as much as possible, to minimize breaks.

If anyone could point out how to find a better copy of Term::Readkey, would be most appreciative.

BTW, have used it (with cpan's version of Term::Readkey) on other distros & systems without WHM, without trouble.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the link, may not have had DBI installed. Was also using a slightly older version of TermReadKey (v2.14 instead of v2.3 from the eth0 site). In any event, no more seg crashes.

That eth0 site is a good source of information, too, I recommend it to anyone else.

    Take care!
