    Unhappy SpamAssassin Problem: auto-whitelist: cannot open auto_whitelist_path

    Hi,

    WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-C18
    RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

    After upgrading Perl from layer1.cpanel.net (perl587) I see the following errors in my /var/log/maillog:
    auto-whitelist: cannot open auto_whitelist_path /home/superweb/.spamassassin/auto-whitelist: Inappropriate ioctl for device
    After some google searches it became evident that the version of libdb (Berkley DB) is outdated or something?

    Can somebody help me with this issue please?

    Seems restarting apache will solve the problem.

    I have restarted apache and checked with a test mail. I could not see the error in Exim log

    the error would be in maillog
