    Default Stop customers from dragging links

    I added some links to my cpanel x3 theme but I do not want to allow customers to drag the row of links I made to the bottom of their control panel. I want them to stay permanently at the top.

    How can I do this please?

    Thank you very much

    What method was used to add the new group (row of links) into X3?

    What files were modified to set the current order, if any?

    It should be possible to keep the custom group at the top by specifying a very low (negative) number (e.g., "-99") for the group order in a custom dynamicUI configuration file. The following two posts should help to further clarify this further:

    This is the method: cPanel Plugins - Developer

    I had the order set to 1 in the file i made in this folder: /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/dynamicui/

    then i logged into a customer who dragged my links to the bottom of her control panel. i changed the order in the file to -99 and it went back to the top like it was originially. however i dragged my links to the bottom again, logged out of firefox, opened up a new browser and logged back into her account and the links were still on the bottom.

    i want a way so my links stay permanently on the top so the customer cannot drag my links anywhere, even if it takes killing the whole code that drags any links around.

    please advise and thanks so much for your response.

    After checking with colleagues I confirmed this specific functionality, for a static group of icons (without drag-and-drop) is not currently possible in X3.

    While it is not be an immediate solution, I would consider posting a feature request asking for this in the following forums area where it can gain more attention and receive additional input and public comment:

    You can place a static group @ the very top or bottom. It will not be collapsible though.

    I did something like this:

    <div id="Partners">
    <div id="Partners-bdrop" class="celldrop"> </div>
    <div class="cellbox">
    <table background="branding/tbl-bg.jpg" height="16" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td><center><font face=verdana size=2 color=#FFFFFF><b><cpanel langprint="PartnersHeader"></b>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</font></center></td></td></table>
    <div id="Partners-body">
