Re-install sort of worked for me.... i now get the root admin coming up for Java and the clients sites now show up on :8080 but they have no access to admin and none of the test scripts seem to work.

    anyone have any ideas?

    Default 404 Errors

    Hello,

I don't know if this will help your 404 errors, but when we first installed Tomcat via the Cpanel addon module, we did not get Tomcat running properly. We found out that since we had originally installed SiteStudio on port 8080, it was redirecting to SiteStudio and took a full reboot to default to the Tomcat page instead.

Once we rebooted the server, Tomcat kicked in and took over from the SiteStudio install. Than we had to install SiteStudio on a different port. If you have ever had another program installed and using that port, it may take a reboot to get Tomcat kicked in, even it it shows that it is running.

Also, make sure you have that port open in any firewall that you may be using. (You have probably already done this, but just in case.)

If I see any other common problems with this, I will update this post.

    Best Regards.

Can SiteStudio be installed on one single server only, and provide service to users on multiple servers?

    Thanks!

Since I don't want to get off the subject here in this forum, do you mind if I send you a PM?

    Thanks.
