Default Where to place cPanel CGI scripts?

    Hello,

I've been messing with Perl/CGI and was wondering where
would I place my custom coded .cgi scripts for use within
    cPanel? In WHM it's /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi.

So far I've tryed placing some in /usr/local/cpanel/base and
/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/theme/ but none of the scripts
executed, or just printed the contents, so I assume you cannot run any there.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    -Evan

Although I have not added to cpanel modules, but I think your looking for: /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel

I do beleive that where perl/cgi modules go.

Well I do not want to put in a cPanel module, I want to run a full
perl/cgi document. But I do not know where to put it in order to execute
    it within cPanel.

    Have you tried /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys ?

Other than those directories, I am not sure where they would go as I mainly develop PHP.

/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys is mainly for the apache/cpanel redirect scripts, and a repository for the various CGI Center scripts.

I did find out that you can run cgi scripts from /usr/local/cpanel/base
    or http://www.domain.com:2082/script.cgi.

    Hope it helps someone else.

    Cheers,
    -Evan
