Account Based Email Login Problem

i can use webmail,exim,pop3 etc. and there is no problem. but just for one account i cant login via imap,webmail or pop3 .

here some command outputs:

FOR OTHER DOMAINS:::

i found my own solution)
the domain name (that was not working) was same with my hostname.
i changed hostname and all accounts are working now.

I have a client with 2 email accounts (one each on diferent domains on the same server) that have the same problem. Unfortunately the server host name is quite distinct from either of the client domains...

I ran the authtest for both and the resulting error message is the same:

'Authentication FAILED: Operation not permitted'

I actually deleted each mailbox after saving the user mail folder, re-created the mailbox and then reinstated the user mail folder. This did not help.

So does anyone have any further suggestions about this problem?

Working on the same problem here.
Can login on 2095 but account is not able to login to POP/IMAP.
authtest also fails....

This seems to be quite a frequent issue now, I have experienced the same issue on 2 different servers. Anyone got some ideas?
