I sure would love to see something done about this too.

    Check this crazyness out!!

I have a customer with an account my server, with a 1500mb disk quota package.

However, look at what shows in his cpanel:

    Disk Space Usage 147.27 Megabytes
    MySQL Disk Space 3200.96 Megabytes
    Disk space available 1352.73 Megabytes

To make matters worse, it does not even show up in WHM > Show Accounts Over Quota!!

WHM account list just shows him as having 147mb used of his 1500mb quota.

I can't believe this hasn't been put in the system. AT LEAST put in a page in WHM that shows MySQL usage so we can atleast see the amount of MySQL each domain uses. But nevertheless, this needs to be on the top of the list.

All of you get 5 votes, which you can use to vote on the top 5 Bugzilla reports. I believe cPanel considers the number of votes as a sign of how important that bug is to the community.

This particular "bug" has only 5 votes. Cast yours now...

Am I the only one who thinks it's absoutely ridiciulous that we should have to vote to get one of the industries leading commercial hosting softwares to perform a critical / vital / basic function of correctly reporting a customer's disk space usage?

This is not some free script in it's infancy - this is software that we're paying for that has been around for years. Voting should not be a part of making it work right.

And apparently I have to publicy expose my email address in order to vote? That aint happenin.

History has shown this to be untrue. They prioritize, I think, based on:
    1) fast and easy fix
    2) what's most fun for the developer at the moment
    3) are systems down
    4) is it important to the customers.

That's mostly how I've seen things addressed.

maybe this is correct . but also what the users(custumers) of cpanel need is like a order . cpanel stuff must look at this big probleme as soon as possible .

They are not going to do anything about it unless people start voting at http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=6119 and make a stink about it.

There are 3 pages of posts on this thread(plus other threads) yet ONLY 7 votes at http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=6119
