After domain change webmail doesn't work.

WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-S7965

We had to change a domain for one of our clients. Other parameters had to stay the same. Our adminstrator did the following. He made "List Accounts". Then he entered "Alter Account Settings". And changed domain name there. Everything seemingly went OK. Until client tried to use WebMail. Now here's the problem. Horde upon login attempt says:

Login failed because your username or password was entered incorrectly.

and:

Notice: Unknown(): Retrying LOGIN authentication after AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failed (errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0

Notice: Unknown(): Retrying LOGIN authentication after AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failed (errflg=1) in Unknown on line 0

Notice: Unknown(): Can not authenticate to IMAP server: AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failed (errflg=2) in Unknown on line 0

We need some solution for this problem. Anyone please? Client will go mad soon.

I would suggest upgrading to cpanel 11 and go from there.
