Sometime during the evening, a change or update may have occurred that updated the way exim routes some of our emails. Here is a copy of my /etc/valias file for one of the domains where is this occurring:
alias_1@domain_1.com: mailbox_1@other_server.com
alias_2@domain_1.com: mailbox_2@other_server.com
alias_3@domain_1.com: mailbox_3@other_server.com
*: tech_alias@third_server.com
When email arrives on the server for alias_1@domain_1.com, mailbox_1@other_server.com and tech_alias@third_server.com both get the email. Here is a sample from the exim_mainlog:
