    Using the Advanced Exim Editor you can add this line in the first text box:

    daemon_smtp_ports = 25 : 8889

    I find it much easier to go to WHM -> Service Configuration -> Service Manager and check the checkbox for "exim on another port."

    Easier yes, but requires more resources to run a second instance of Exim.

    newer versions of cPanel no longer run a second Exim instance. Instead the Service Manager interface adds the daemon_smtp_ports directive to exim.conf

    Hi,

    which version of cPanel adds "daemon_smtp_ports". I have cPanel 11.24.5-R38506 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
    and option "Exim on another port" does not write such entry. Or it is not visible in advanced configuration editor ?

    Is it possible to add 3-4 ports in daemon_smtp_ports, like:

    daemon_smtp_ports = 25 : 8889 : 26
