    Hi Radio,

Just wondering if the SSL option has been fixed or continue making troubles with ASSP?

    Thanx!

    Hello

due to incompatibility with openssl, stunneling is still the best way if you want use SSL with ASSP .

now that 1.6.5.5 is stable: ASSP_1.6.5.5
are we going to see an update for ASSP Deluxe? I'm getting terminally bored with the 1.5 line and want to see an upgrade!

    Hello

    latest months I always focused to make the cPanel integration better, instead to follow newer ASSP versions. ; especially for 2 reasons ;

    - there is nothing really new (which blocks more spam) in 1.6.5.5
which explains an upgrade. I tested it and I can't see valid reasons to
upgrade . SSL tunneling is still required, and there are not new killer
    antispam features.
    - is there a good reason to upgrade now ? Is too much spam passing for you ?
I am receiving 1.5.1.2 excellent feedbacks, why should we leave 1.5 if
it works like a charm ?

BTW 1.7.x is near to be out of dev, and it will be a bigger upgrade which probably can make the difference with 1.5.1.2 and 1.6.5 too.

I haven't had a lot of spam get through, but I've had a few too many false positives, and then spam I send out is too often ending up in the spam folders of my recipients.

Open your ASSP WHM and try this

    PenaltyMessageBlock 46
    Bayesian Filter 36
    RBL Filter 36
    Invalid HELO 13
    Suspicious HELO 8

Then be sure you are using latest RBLs and URIBLs

    and use Clamd Unofficial Signatures.

I am reading this now . It should NOT happen . ASSP fully allows local senders (and based on their usage they contribute to build the whitelist) , if a local sender goes in spam please read this

Why is ASSP blocking a local sender ?.

If your ISP blocks usage of port 25 and 26 (or 587) you should apply this

Default Your Log File is Empty

    Hello,

After logging to the client control panel and selecting the "Log" corresponding to the domain name shows "Your Log File is Empty". ASSP running fine on server. Checked the logs and was not able to find any errors. Updated ASSP to the latest version thru WHM. But still the Log files show empty while accessing thru client control panel.

    Any ideas?

So if I have ASSP SSL currently enabled and I follow the steps to disable it before upgrading, will I be able to enable ASSP SSL again? I didn't see any steps to go about doing it under test/dev. Thanks

If you was using ASSP SSL in 1.5.1.2 it was not good. As reported in several warning pages (also before installing it) ASSP SSL native in 1.5.1.2 was causing exim timeouts (in exim/cPanel) . In your case , you should disable ASSP SSL , then you can use SSL tunneling which works fine in 1.5.1.2 and 1.7.1 => ASSP SSL tunneling .

Ok thanks. Didn't notice any problems with the ASSP SSL. Back to stunnel then...
