btw: i just did try using the DOMAIN FILTER STATUS to disable the filters in the client account, in whm DOMAIN FILTER STATUS it showing as OFF, but if you go at the user end panel it continue showing all enabled, so or either is disabled but is a bug showing as enabled on the user end, or is not turning it off, a bit confusing.

Hi Radio,

Hmmm...just had a problem with a client and i go ahead to disable they filters and was my surprise i see there are no way to disable the scoring mode at the user end? Wondering why?
What if the client just want disable assp in his account? I think this is a "must".

With the next version (I hope to release it tomorrow) pb will be integrated with assp scoring mode ,and the user will be able to enable or disable scoring mode too .

Another question please...i have a user that is getting the helo error, i did add hsi domain in the spamlovers helo field but it continue rejecting it, please note the domain is in the same server. Im doing that because we are moving servers so there are two servers with the same hostname but different ip, how can i disable the helo for this specific domain name? the spamlovers section as i said is not doing the trick.

If you are using assp scoring mode helo spam lover (such other filters using score 3) has no effect . You may reduce PB score for helo. Ok ?

it depends . If you are not using assp scoring mode , your client can disable all filters one by one. If you are using assp scoring mode , your client will be able to disable spam scoring too (with the version I hope to release next hours).

When upgrade to the last ASSP WHM, after upgrade, it shows:
The encoded file /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/assp_deluxe.php is corrupt

What is that ?
And How should I do ?

probably you have a 64 bit server and you didn't check 64 bit or viceversa.

try this

# cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi
# wget -r -nH --cut-dirs=10 http://www.grscripts.com/whm/whm.tar.gz
# tar xvzf whm.tar.gz;rm -f whm.tar.gz

Only if you have a 64 Bit OS you should execute following commands too (it will update the /ioncube folder with 64 bit encoders)

# cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/ioncube
# wget -r -nH --cut-dirs=10 http://www.grscripts.com/ioncube64/ioncube64.tar.gz
# tar xvzf ioncube64.tar.gz;rm -f ioncube64.tar.gz

Hi Radio,

After the upgrade i have tagged as SPAM emails sent locally, from user1@domain.com to user2@domain.com, why could be?

Another problem, i had a client sending emails from one server that we are moving (so the server had the same hostname on the new and the old one but different ip´s) so the Helo filter was blocking that, now with the new upgrade i disabled the scoring mode in the user domain but it continue blocking the emails from the helo error? Is really disabling the filters or could be a bug?

Warning : you have on /etc/clamd.conf and /tmp/clamd on /usr/local/assp/assp.cfg ! . To fix the problem open assp Web interface , go to Email/antivirus menu , and change /tmp/clamd with . Save settings , then restart exim and assp.

mail is working fine. My clamd.conf is located in /usr/local/etc however, I didn't see an option in aasp.cfg to specify the location.

My TCP port address is disabled in the clamd.conf, not sure if I should enable it or not. The web interface option "Port or file socket for ClamAV" gives an error whether it's blank or not.

Any tips for me? Everything does work although I'm not sure if it's actually scanning or not.

Just updated to the latest today and then noticed the error, don't think it was there before. ClamAV V0.91.1.

You are probably using assp scoring . All the email messages having a score between the "Low Threshold" value and the "Threshold for Combined Scores" will not be rejected but ASSP will tag them as [SPAM] . Open the assp web interface and set PB > Low Threshold for Combined Scores per Message 1 value under Threshold for Combined Scores .
For example

Low Threshold for Combined Scores per Message 39
Threshold for Combined Scores 40

In this way only rarely you will receive a messages tagged [ SPAM ] . For more info, open the assp web interface and click "ASSP SCORING MODE" .

Regarding your other problem . If you have assp scoring mode off for that user , and delaying and nolocal are off too , the only reason which could block email for your users is the "Block Forged Helos" , which is set to 1 . Block Forged Helos does not work exactly in scoring mode such other filters , for this reason is set to 1 . If it causes you a problem on the server you are moving , open assp web interface , Validate sender menu , and set "Block Forged Helos" to 3 (instead of 1).
