    No, not ALL mail - just a lot of it - because its a new server and Bayes hasnt learnt yet.

    Will scoring mode still work if I disable bayes in assp frontend ?

    I wanted say that if you use assp scoring mode (also with bayesian)
    you will not receive email tagged [ SPAM ]

    assp scoring needs bayes too . Don't worry it will not cause problem because default scoring threshold
    is set failry high (40) .

    If you want disable bayes using assp scoring mode , you should not set bayes from 3 to 1, you should only
    change the scoring for Bayes from 25 (default) to something lower for example 15 .

    Just another feature request , can you create an quarantined email digest service which should send an email once every 24 hours to the mailbox / admin mailbox of the domain which includes the list of all emails which are quarantined/blocked/tagged as spam in last 24 hours.

    This would make your system more efficient and effective as every body would be abel to see the list and realize if they lost a genuine mail.

    the request is good but wondering how that will overload the server in a server with thousand of email addresses?


    another subject Radio...do the spambox maintenance cron remove ONLY emails in spambox if that client have activated the spambox feature? or it remove from all the accounts? i mean if it remove from all the accounts no matter if the client enabled/disabled the spambox could be a problem because many users that have no idea about it could lose real emails.

    it removes all spam older than 7 days (by default 7 days, IMAP/pop3), also if the spambox goes disabled . If the client knows the existence of imap spambox , he should know also (it's explained on cpanel frontend spambox help) that the spam is removed from server (by default spam older than 7 days) . If you are worried about this , you can change the default to 30 days i.e. and set disk usage limits (using limitspace http://www.grscripts.com/howtofaq.html#09 )

    hi Radio,

    You have to think about it, the logic should be it remove only if the client have enabled spambox, in other case do not remove the emails from the spambox folder.

    Keep this in mind...if a client enabled spambox, then many wrong tagged emails gone to the spambox folder, he then decided disable it, after x days the system will remove all the emails there included the false positives there.

    In my opinion, is better just leave the emails on accounts that spambox is disabled and only remove if spambox is enabled.

    Keep in mind if a client have disabled spambox, they will no go and read the assp frontend about it, because he disabled it, so nothing should happen.

    I already added it for imap spambox@

    You should add nodisabled=yes to clear_spambox cronjob , and all the users having imap spambox disabled will not be processed . With next release you will find it.

    Adding this feature to spambox pop3 seems to be more complicated , I will try next days.

    already fixed , it was due to assp upgrade , with next upgrade you will see it in action too .

    The setting could be specified to send a single mail once every 24 hours and the choice could be given if the mail would go to a forwarder by the name of spamadmin@domain.com or to each mailbox. For a server with 5,000 mailboxes it increases internal traffic of only 5000 mails which certainly won't overload the server but think of the advantages as every user would know which mails have been blocked and can request the admin to release if theirs any important mail or whitelist a user.

    I think this would make this solution very very effective.
