    DataCenter Provider

    Default block 1 address

    We have someone that has been sending much of our clients an email on a daily basis.
    We would like to stop all email from their domains

    Is there a way to place this into a config file somewhere

    ie:

    if an email comes from @domain.com kill it and do not forward to our clients?

    thanks

    Not sure how others do it, but with ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End is how we do it. Right from within WHM.

    Putting this after check_recipient: in your exim conf should do it (not tested it but its simple so should work), could always be expanded to check a host_list or file for banned domains.

    Code:
    deny message = Your Domain is not permitted to send to us, E-mail Rejected.
         log_message = Spamming Bastards
         senders = *@spamdomain.com

    Default using a list...

    Hmmm - k

    so I would just place that right after this:

    #!!# These options specify the Access Control Lists (ACLs) that
    #!!# are used for incoming SMTP messages - after the RCPT and DATA
    #!!# commands, respectively.

    acl_smtp_rcpt = check_recipient

    ?

    no sorry, i didnt explain properly before, after this:

    Code:
    [% ACL_NOTQUIT_BLOCK %]

    #!!# ACL that is used after the RCPT command
    check_recipient:
      # Exim 3 had no checking on -bs messages, so for compatibility
      # we accept if the source is local SMTP (i.e. not over TCP/IP).
      # We do this by testing for an empty sending host field.
