    Default Boxtrapper--how to blacklist all?

Is there a way to check all the messages queued in boxtrapper and blacklist them? I see a way to check all and either whitelist and deliver OR delete, but I see no way to check all and blacklist and delete. if I want to blacklist or add to ignore list, I only see an option to do that on the individual emails. I get so much spam, that doing it on the individual email is not feasible.

If this is not a function of boxtrapper, how can I give the company feedback that it should be?

Related question: Is it better to use the ignore list so as to not tip off spammers that you will not accept email from one of their addresses?

    TIA.

I am also looking for this functionality, for the Ignore List. I think that would be better than using a blacklist since in a lot of cases the headers are forged and/or the return address isn't really where the spam is coming from...adding to the blacklist would probably just create more noise.

I agree. This has been something that has been missing from BoxTrapper for some time, and it appears that the basic problem is the integration of it into cPanel. If that is the case, then the real issue is the display form used, and the way it is laid out on the screen. This should be simple to adjust.

We simply need more options in working with BoxTrapper. Here are my suggestions:
    1. The complete list of actions should be "Add to Ignore List and Delete", "Add to Black List and Delete", and "Add to White List and Deliver".

    2. I also suggest that the list be one continuous listing, with the ability to sort by columns, including date and sender, rather than having to go to different screens based upon date.

    3. It would be nice if there were some way to interface from the desktop, rather than from cPanel in a browser.

    Thanks.

Default Hope someone can improve Boxtrapper!

I'm glad to see ANY response on this list. Is anyone capable of making a change on this list? I struggle with Boxtrapper daily, having to eyeball about 500 spam and white listing a few. It is such a big time waster. I agree with all your suggestions. But is anyone listening? I couldn't find a way to directly contact the developers of this program, I tried.

Its not so much a "black list" button thats needed, as you are just adding far too many lines to your boxtrapper config over time, which in turn adds load to the server. Spammers are using random email addresses and listing each one on the server is over the top.

What would be nice is a simply "Select All" button that I can use to delete the whole queue at once.

Default Ignore all or blacklist all

I have thirty-odd email addresses that I would like to be restricted to receiving ONLY messages via an enquiry form on my website. Obviously the form has a unique "from" address and this is the one that I want to receive. EVERYTHING else needs to be ignored or rejected. Any ideas?

You could create an email filter (FROM does not contain EXAMPLE.COM) where example.com is your domain.

Just checking in and noticing that the comments have not found a solution as yet. I too wish there was a solution to the whole spam problem that BoxTrapper could help with.

    Bummer.
