Default Can't Download Emails With Big Attachment

I have got this peculiar problem, where POP mail client like Outlook, Outlook Express, ThunderBird etc are unable to download emails with big attachment.

Say if there are 10 emails on the server and the 4th one has big attachment larger than 10 Mb the mail download process will just hang up there and since the process has not finished, if you break the connection, it will start from the beginning as all 10 mails are there none got deleted and not marked by the mail client.

    Any fix to this issue?

If they are using DSL with PPPoE, they may need to reduce their MTU value. Just Google "PPPoE" and "MTU" for more info. Perhaps a long shot, but worth a try.
