Change IP for mail server

Hello,

My main server IP has been listed on couple of blacklists as the result of spammers who sent mails last week.
Now the problem is fixed and they cannot send emails again but main sever IP will be on blacklists still 7 to 15 days and then it will be automaticly whitelisted.
But I have the problem for following 15 days because users cannot send emails because server ip is still on blacklist.
So, my idea is to change mail server IP for next 15 days or more. Users can send mails until main ip will whitelisted and then I want to back mail server on main server IP.
How can I do this? Will that action make problems with using emails? Is this good option for temporary problem with black lists? It it is, I want to use it if the problem appears again in the future.

If you change the primary IP address of your server, remember that you will also need to change the IP address of your cPanel/WHM license accordingly.
