Changing Exim Port

Hello,

I run Exim with ASSP instead of SpamAssassin. Recently I've noticed that Exim configuration might be edited by an update and remove my "daemon_smtp_port" line changing the port that I run Exim on. I was wondering if there is any way to make it so Exim can hold the port I assign to it and allow any updates to be done without affecting the port it's using, otherwise all email services go down on our server.

Um, you can do that in WHM.

Service Configuration > Service Manager > Exim on another port

That's a secondary exim though. Not the primary.

Lucas, you can disable Exim in the Service Manager and enable Exim on another port while specifying the port you wish to use. This will use the same Exim settings on the other port.
