Courier - Connection refused

Hello,

I am using Courier mail server I can receive email ok. when I try to send mail I get Connection refused (using Elovultion mail client)

currently running VPS with csf v5.34 and port 465 is listed to allow connections, however if I run a port scan with nmap I get 465/tcp closed smtps

How can this be enabled, is there something else I need to install?

Did you try disabling CSF to see if port 465 was working afterward? This would allow you to determine if CSF itself is the issue before proceeding further.

Yes I tried disabling CSF but I still get the same error, Connection refused
