Default Cpanel: email filter option--email to script

I would like to use the Cpanel email filter option that sends an email to a script. I want to process the email and file parts of it in a database. I will be using a PHP script.

My question is -- how do I access the email?

    You need to:

    1. Make sure that there's no POP3 Mail account for the email address (unless you want email delivered to that too)

    2. Create a Forwarder (alias) and set it to the full path of your script prefixing it with the pipe symbol | like this:

    |/home/username/public_html/myscript.php
