Creating E-mail Aliases in cPanel

I am transitioning from a Server that used Plesk. One of the features I found helpful was e-mail aliases. I could set up multiple aliases in my mailbox, so I knew if one of my vendors "sold" my e-mail address. I could create one mailbox log in and poof- they were all there.

In cPanel I can only see where I have to set up each e-mail address with it's own account and use forwarding - is this the ONLY option?

Is there something I can't see? Am I not looking in the right place? Unfortunately the documentation sucks in this area.

yes, this is the only option which is quite good and works better than in plesk. you can forward email account to multiple destinations.

As far as I know, Plesk's Email Aliases is similar to cPanel/WHM's Email Forwarders.

You can setup forwards without having email accounts, if that's what you're looking for. If you create an account AND forward it, the email will remain in the account until you empty it.

If you create a forward but not an account, it will simply forward to the specified account, where ever it resides.

ok thanks... but let's say... i want to create an alias and send it to 3 different emails adress, should i create it there.!!

Yes; you may use cPanel to create a forwarder to each of the three destination e-mail addresses. When creating the e-mail forwarders, you may simply re-use the same forwarder address.
