    Default Delete "tricky" email account

When I bought my hosting space they asked me for a domain name, since I did`t had one and I was going to access the web space with the ip address, I entered "xyz.co.nr". The hosting company offered me the hosting space and from cPanel I was able to create a email account "test@xyz.co.nr". I was even able to sent email from it.

When I bought a domain, at my request, they replaced the name of my account with the new domain name, and now I am not able to delete "test@xyz.co.nr" because I receive the flowing error:

"The e-mail account test@xyz.co.nr was successfully deleted.
Sorry, you do not have access to the domain xyz.co.nr"
A very strange error message "OK but not"

Is there any way to delete this email address?

May be the user ownership issue. I would suggest to contact the web hosting provider to get an exact idea about the issue.

It's not at all a permission issue.

You will just need to remove the old domain's email address entries [In your case, it is "test@xyz.co.nr" ]from the file /home/user/.cpanel/email_accounts.yaml

NOTE:: The same issue had been discussed and resolved in the forum itself.

    Refer http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/e-mail-a...or-141905.html for the same.
