    Question Domain Email Forwarding Not Working

    Hi!

    Sorry if this has already been answered! I have searched a few sites and posts (like this one : http://forums.cpanel.net/f43/solutio...-69422-p3.html) and did not find a solution that worked for me... It seems as this problem happened on an old version of CPanel and was solved but we have the problem here...

    When we are adding a domain email forward to a site, it does not forward the emails and responds with the error message below :

    To clarify, the forward itself isn't working and it is failing with "User unknown: test@somedomain.com" ?

    If so, please try the following in root SSH on your machine:

    Code:
    exim -bt test@somedomain.com
    Please note that test@somedomain.com must exist and be a valid email recipient for the forwarder to work.

    I hate when this happens! We had the problem for the last 2-3 weeks or so... After having removed the temporary email forwards and re-done the domain forward for the Xth time, now it works fine! If I ever get the answer as to why it happened, I'll let everyone here know!
