Is it possible to make an e-mail filter ( Mail > Account Level Filtering > Create New Filter ) that will delete all messages with a subject line over 100 characters long? I only receive spam with e-mail subjects of this length and beyond.

Creating email filter does not delete the existing emails from the particular account. However, you will not receive receive those mails in your email address once you create the filter. You will have to manually remove the mails from your email account.
