Hi every body , i wanted to add a new email account to my Website so i did :
mail > Manage/Add/Remove Accounts > Add Account then i add only the name of the new account and the password then Create . every this goes good .
the problem is when i use neomail to read and send my incoming and outgoing emails . when i send an email to my new account from exemple Gmail i see No messages althought i get the google's message message sent , i tried with yahoo but always the same problem . but when i send an email to these email servers from my new account i get it , i mean the message is sent .
so please is there any problem or specific steps to adjust my new account so that it can read messages and emails .

Have you tried any of the other mail clients on the server apart from neomail ? if so what happens when using the other clients.

yes always with the same result , No message.
i don't know what happens . with the 3 mail clients .

Step 1: You should check your eximlog to view any potential problems with the email server.
var/log/exim_mainlog

Exim logs will explain in more detail on what is going on in your mail system. It would be hard to really explain what to look for since I am not sure what the problem could be.

View the header of the message you have sent and check the message id.


Open var/log/exim_mainlog

Use "find" in your text editor and find the message id (or the target email address). This should tell you if they was a problem in delivery and if it was your system or the intended target server.

There are numerous reasons to why your mail may not have been delivered, hopefully exim logs may give you a focal point to start with.

The E-Mail Queue Manager is located in WHM. This shows you what emails have not been delivered yet.

You may want to check your "Mail Stats" in WHM to see if there are any reported problems. Your mail stats can show you a reason why there was an error in sending/receiving the email.

The "Mail troubleshooter" is in WHM. You enter the email address and it pretty much tells you what may be wrong with the email address on your server (if a problem is found).

The step by step was in my last reply this is more detailed. Use the previous steps with this in mind.
