Default Email account showing wrong disk usage (0 kb)

    Hello,

Is anyone else experiance that email accounts in cpanel showing wrong disk usage? Im haveing this problem on two of my servers, both WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.15.0-R18264
CENTOS 5 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0. - RELEASE. In this case the problem is that disk usage is showing 0 Kb for almost all email accounts but that is not true. More or less all mail account are useing some space and not 0 kb. In the past the problem was maildirsize showing wrong usage and if you deleted maildirsize for specific mail account the usage was OK. In this case I have notice that mail accounts showing wrong usage of 0 kb do not have maildirsize. Few mail accounts wich show right usage have maildirsize.

I would appreciate any help regarding this issue.

    Regards, Erik

probably the email account is not fully converted to the maildir, try run /scripts/convert2maildir and select option 3

Thanx for your suggestion but it looks like this is not the case. I have run /scripts/convert2maildir and select option 3 but most of the mail account on both servers are still showing usage of 0 kb eaven if I check with disk usage in cpanel in some cases shows for the same mail account it is using 250 MB and so on.

    More ideas?

    Regards, Erik

If you are migrating from Ensim and have root access on the cPanel/WHM server, I'd recommend seeking assistance through our free Transfer Assistance Program:

They will never make a call to Bulgaria. ..... so if you have an idea please let us know

BTW: all accounts are already transfered with all information (html, email users etc). Just this small issue, but if nobody can help i can live with this.

Not sure where the Bulgaria comment comes from, the number listed is a toll-free US number. You could always go the route of the ticket system as well .

My hosting company set up a new dedicated server for me, with cPanel and WHM.

I created all new email accounts for my domain, and the primary (catchall) account, and first account that I created on the domain show some size, although they rarely change. The catchall does change, but my personal user account does not.

All of the other account stay at 'None' for usage, although they have mail in them.

I need to be able to see how much space they're consuming so I can alert my users when their boxes are getting full.

What do I need to do?
