Default Email in Cpanel sends to address as "local"

    Hi all,

I'm running "send email to" command on php in a script. When I send it to my hotmail, it's fine, and comes up with SMTP etc.. on the panel, but when I send it to my business address, where it want it to go, it routes it as "Local".

    What's going on?

Is this because it's the same domain I've registered my email account to in the system? Same as "root" if you will?

Is there any way to force external?

    cheers,
    Arthur

Question Re: Email in Cpanel sends to address as "local"

I'm not sure I understand. Isn't sending it to hotmail, external?
