Email forwarding problem - Not forwarding emails

Hello everyone,
Im having a problem with my email forwarding.
I dont have any setup complex or anything big modifications, all im wanting to do it forward all emails send to the email address "email@mydomain.com" to my gmail account "mygmail@gmail.com".

On my old server everything was working fine, nothing should have changed when moving. But now i notice emails are not getting forwarded, but they are getting delivered properly. This is what i did to test. Using my gmail account i send an email to the email account on my server "email@mydomain.com" and checked the email account using webmail and the email i send with my gmail arrived properly. Then using webmin i replied to my email and got the email in my gmail account. So i know that my mail settings are correct since im sending and receiving mail properly. But forwarding doesn't seem to be working. Iv gone to the mail forwarders tab and have entered everything in correctly and even done the "Trace" with no problems and still am not receiving emails.

You cannot email from the same gmail account you are forwarding to and have that email forward. gmail will drop the message. Basically mygmail@gmail.com to email@mydomain.com forwarded back to mygmail@gmail.com will not work. You can test the forwarder by emailing from another email account entirely (either another gmail account or another non-gmail account), so long as the same gmail account with the forwarder isn't used for sending the originating email.
