Exclamation Email issue

I can not connect to a specific account, it is always the same, either by outlook or webmail. Outllook ask for the pass again and again and through webmail entering the pass redirects me to the webmail login page (doesn't metter the webmail system i choose). I do have full access to the cpanel and the whm as the server is dedicated and the VPS are mounted by our self. If I restore the VPS using a backup the problem dissapear for about 24 hours but returns...always to the same account.

I read most of the threads related with this issue with no luck.

Any suggestion?

Other VPS at the server, also with whm/cpanel are running normally.

Are you using your cPanel password, root password or the mail account's password?

Also, what is the portion of the email address before the @ sign? As these forums are publicly viewable, please do not post the entire email address. Additionally, is this (the part before the @ sign) the same as the cPanel username?

Do the logs (particularly maillog) reveal any clues as to the exact
time of day that the problem begins and is it consistent after reload?

(Thinking about the possibility of some scheduled cron or update process
doing something to mess you up possibly)
