Default Email Pipe: Bounce Back Message makes no sense

    Hello,

I've been piping email to a PHP script for a few weeks now with no problems.

I switched to a new host over the weekend and now I'm getting bounce back messages that just make no sense.

It says something about not being able to load a dynamic library. I'm not trying to load a dynamic library. I've never even heard of ffmpeg. Although I've read on my host's site that they DO provide it.

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

    pipe to |/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/EmailHandlers/EmailHandler.php 0 0
    generated by email@domain.com

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

    ------ pipe to |/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/EmailHandlers/EmailHandler.php 0 0
    generated by email@domain.com ------

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions//usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/ffmpeg.so' - /usr/local/lib/php/extensions//usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20050922/ffmpeg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

    Default

It's a problem with your Hosts installation of PHP. It is trying to load a library that isnt there. I would suggest fowarding a copy of the error message to your host in a support ticket or email.

    Default Thanks.

    thanks.

I never know if it's a coding issue on my part or if it's a something specific to the server. I spent a LOT of time looking for this on my own.

I forwarded the bounce on to the host and it seems to be working now.
