    Default Email Sending Problem

    Occasionally messages bounce with the following when attempting to use an account on my server. The error message is:

    =============================
    The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries
    =============================

    When I send from my roadrunner account to the same address, the mail goes through.

    Here is my resolve.conf:

    =============================
    nameserver 4.2.2.3
    nameserver 64.191.0.2
    nameserver 64.191.1.2
    =============================

    I am running WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-S16999.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Can you clarify what you mean by "attempting to use an account on my server?" Are you attempting to send mail via SMTP through an email account you have set up?

    Yes, that's what I meant. However, my tech support guys did some research and came up with the following:

    ================================================================

    The dns entries for the domain to which you are trying to send email was not setup correctly, it is missing the MX record or it is setup wrong and also no reverse DNS is setup: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsrep...alpartners.com

    Please check with them to solve their issues, they have problems on the server.

    I think you should tell your client that the mail isnt going becose of this issue, and discus with its ISP the Solution for the problem.
