    Default Emails problems

    Sometimes, i try to send me a e-mail and it doesn't come to me. I try to download by outlook or thunderbird and it doesn't work, but sometimes yes. It just stop working for a hours and come back to work after it.

    It isn't only on software, simply the email doesn't come, even on webmail.

    The services of smtp and pop are UP.

    Does anyone knows how to resolve it?

    You should trace the error further. How do you send the email? Which smtp server do you use? Have you checked your exim_mainlog ? IS there any chance your account is over quota ?

    i tried to send a email by software (outlook and thunderbird) using my own smtp and other server, but the emails is coming back with "failure notice".

    The mailbox is empty.

    I tried to send by webmail and it is going. But if i try to send to my own e-mail, it doesn't go.

    This problem only happens with one domain.

    How can i see the exim_log?

    The logs are found in /var/log/ and you would check exim_mainlog to see if there was a reason given for it to fail. You would need root access to the server.

    If you do not have root access you would need to contact your hosting company for help with this issue.
