Exim - Delivering mail to the real live server

hi, We often install temporary domains / accounts on our server to test some environments before moving them over. But when we do this, we get mail problems.

Mail gets delivered to the local account rather than the real domain hosted on another server. Hence our client does not receive our mail.

How can we tell exim to check with a proper DNS server as to where the domain really resolves and send the mail there rather than local?

Please make sure that you have to changed any Mail records from the DNS Zone editor of your servers where you domain actually hosted.

Hi, I am not sure this applies as it the server where the domain is NOT hosted that should send to the hosting one. And that is my problem.

Is there any way to automate this?

a)Within cpanel?

b)If not: like a cron making an external DNS check and commenting out the domains that are not pointing to our server?
