Exim Failing And Restarting...

Seems to send mail ok. Tried the stuff below and it did not fix the issue?

remove the directory exim

cd /var/cpanel/serviceauth/
rm -rf exim

Restart Cpanel.
/etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel restart

The folder exim will be recreated…

that should fix the issue.

One of my servers shows the same message any time you restart Exim -- ever since 4.69_25 or whatever the version was that was released to address the first Exim vulnerability around 12-8 or 12-9.

But, when I check I see that exim is running.

I wonder if its simply a case where Exim is taking longer to shut down and restart than it used to prior to this latest version and thus the script that checks to see if the server issues a "failed" message because Exim hadn't come up by the time it checked.
