ever seen your server's load as high as 300 or maybe 400 ?
well, that's something i see usually on my server

managing and handling mails for a hosting server that has over 100 clients is a mess
i'm not that much into mail stuff so I need some of your experience.

I have no clue about exim configurations i usually go for the default configurations, install csf and clamd and that's it

the only best way to see who's trying to send out so many emails is when i try to (service exim stop) wait for the load to come down a bit
then log into whm n check ConfigServer Mail Queues to see the mails there, almost 70% of them most of the time are bounced emails.

I don't know exactly why exim loads up the server and I'll appreciate any help

is there any difference if i force my clients to create gmail accts for example and setup their scripts to run on smtp ? or it's the same as using the local php mailer?
any suggestions to reduce or monitor mail?

Thanks
