Default Exim remove and change return-path

    Hello

so, on server 1 there is a simple php code that connect with port 25 of server 2 and put on SMTP all data

all work fine but return-path is remove

we set return-path as header because is different to FROM value .. but on header email return-path have same value of FROM and our header return-path seems removed

    any idea ?

    Thanks

    Lightbulb return path

    Hello,

Edit your exim.conf file and add the following line:
    Code:
    return_path_remove = false
    Restart exim.

Manual changes to exim.conf will not be saved.

To ensure edits are saved, please use the Exim Configuration Editor in WHM to apply the customizations; there is an Advanced Editor section that allows custom directives to be inserted.

    Lightbulb Customizing the Exim Configuration

I recommend referring to the official Exim documentation to find out more about configuration options and what is possible in Exim. The following page at the Exim web site also includes a search function to help locate current information from the latest Exim documentation:
    Exim Documentation
    Exim Wiki

When searching for the specified configuration directive, the following page was included in the search results:
Specification of the Exim Mail Transfer Agent, Chapter 14, Main configuration

    For clarification and to reiterate:
To save configuration directives for the "main configuration" of Exim, the configuration directives must be entered within the first text-entry area (text box) that is directly below "#!!# cPanel Exim 4 Config" in the Advanced Editor of the Exim Configuration Editor in WHM (via root access):
WHM: Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor >> Advanced Editor
    Documentation:
    EximConfig < AllDocumentation/WHMDocs < TWiki
    AdvancedExim < AllDocumentation/WHMDocs < TWiki
