Eximstats sleep appearing in MySQL Process List

Hi,

I regularly monitor MySQL processes and I am getting Eximstats appearing in the list repeatedly showing as Sleep for up to 60 seconds then it closes and a new one starts again.

This isn't overloading the server but has just started happening today after I fixed a file permissions problem stopping Exim running, at which point I also updated CPanel via /scripts/upcp.

Its not like a major issue but if anyone can help or give me some pointers that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It wouldn't be overloading the machine in sleep state anyway.

Please check the /var/log/mysql/hostname.err log to ensure eximstats isn't appearing in there for any error messages. Here hostname.err is your fully qualified hostname.

If eximstats is appearing in the error log for MySQL, please post the return.

If it isn't appearing in the error log for MySQL, then there's nothing you even need to do about it.
