FormMail cgi with SMTP AUTH??

Hello,

Anyone know of perl form-mail replacement that utilizes real SMTP AUTH features such as smtp server, account name, and password? Php does it nicely, but in a few cases I'm looking for a nice plain perl form mail with smtp auth that doesn't require an open smtp relay.

Have used nms FormMail for a number of years but not sure that it meets your smtp requirements.

Do see some advanced module options that look to support smtp.

I've already read through the NMS cgi's and although they ae an improvement from the original FormMail.cgi, it doesn't seem to have complete Smtp authentication. It does require you to specify an SMTP server, but that server needs to be an open relay for the form, since the NMS mail script doesn't have provisions for the SMTP user-name and password.

I'm gonna have to keep searching to find a perl/cgi form mailer script with the entire SMTP authentication parameters.... Specify Smtp Server, Smtp user-name and user-name's password.

Just like Php does it in the SMTP method, but with perl cgi.

Anyone else got any suggstions?

I would be interested in this as well if you locate anything.
I love NMS formmail but the addition of legitimate SMTP authentication support would really be nice.
