FormMail Clone using 'From:' webmaster@hostname.server.com

Hi, I understand that the 'email' field of the formmail script is designed to receive the email address of the form-filler. But how does one change the 'FROM:' address of the mailed form, which currently defaults to "webmaster@hostname.server.com"?

i.e., the form get sent to the 'receipient' and the 'email' addresses but the From: field has "webmaster@hostname.server.com" and I cannot see how to modify that. THis is not mentioned in the FormMail documentation as far as I can see.

Any ideas?

Hi, Ok I figured it out - I misunderstood the previous posts on this subject.

In case anyone else was still puzzled. (could just be me :P)

The hidden input field named 'email' if left empty will result in the default address 'webmaster@hostname.server.com' being displayed in the 'From' field of the email sent from the form. So by setting your desired address in the 'email' input field, this will overwrite the default behaviour.
