Delete the actual email account and only the forwarder will receive the email. The email account is only needed if you wish to maintain a copy in the mailbox and have a copy forwarded to a different address. Forwarding will always leave a copy if the email box exists.

You can also set a cron to delete the emails, which can be excuted in midnight.
The forwarder will forward the email and the cron will daily clear your emails.

Deleting actual email account worked (though I see on the web that some have had difficulties this way).
No need for the complexity of a cron job this time, thankfully.
I had no problem with this on 3 servers so far, but all are different!
