how to backup all email accounts

Please show me how to backup, move & restore all email accounts from server to server (using cpanel)

If you do a full site backup, all email accounts and the mail in them will be backed up. When restoring a full site backup, all email accounts will be restored.

Or did you want to move only the email?

I want to only backup email as I'm changing from Mbox to Maildir.
I have about 40 clients on a VPS server.
Instructions on how to proceed are greatly appreciated.

Full website backups as well as full server backups (if you have configured and enabled them) will contain backups of the email.
