how to bypass ehlo checking

Hi,

While sending email , I encountered the error as below:
550 Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)'

Did anyone have idea on how to bypass ehlo checking?

Are you using any mail client to send mails, If you're using outlook to send mails then check the following

1. Click Tools then E-mail Accounts...
2. Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click Next
3. Select the email account and click Change
4. Click on "More settings"
5. Select "Outgoing Server" tab
6. Tick "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
7. Select "Use same settings as my incoming email server"
8. Click Ok
9. Press Next
10. Lastly, press Finish

Try sending mails after verifying these settings.

Incase if I want to use another method other than authentication, got other advise?

Like if I wish ti bypass sender verification, I can add the Ip at etc/senderverifybypasshosts

For ehlo, got any file can be added to bypass it?

Disable the option in the Exim Configuration editor.

I wish to have ehlo checking, and only by pass for certain domain or IP, is that possible?

Me too, I need only BYPASS. Can we do it?

I want to do this as well. Disabling this option is usually a bad idea, my spam levels always goes up. But I have a lot of clients with vps that have the exact same hostname ( they can't and won't change the hostnames ) . If there was an IP whitelist, it would help greatly.
